Hi all. So I've received a bit of backlash from some over my use of AI, and I wanted to take the opportunity to justify why I use it.

1. My writing is 100% my own. Some days I spend over 5 hrs writing. It is my hobby. Its what I do! I aids my mental health. 

2. I also paint, but there is no way that I could illustrate my books. The illustration would look like a child had done them, and I wanted quality for my books, since I spend a lot of time writing them.

3. Likewise with my music, I was writing loads of songs, but developing music is time consuming (Im really grateful of RecRock for their work with me, but over 10yrs we have recorded 4 songs.) thus I started using AI to make the music because I had over 100 songs just lying there not doing anything, and I wanted them to be seen.

4. Im registered disabled with fibromyalgia,  cam impingement in both hips. Im continually in pain somewhere, if I wake up not in pain these days, I think I've died in the night!!!! I also had a big toe amputated 2yrs ago, which is still healing now. I was a deputy headteacher,  but I ended up giving up this job due to mental health issues- i was bullied out of my job by a tyrant headteacher,  I went through divorce, I became a single parent and had to organise life around that, I had a leukaemia scare, I nearly lost my house because I couldn't pay my mortgage,  I had my car repossessed,  sold at auction with I deficit I could not pay! It was a horrible time, during which I had very, very dark thoughts that I have only ever spoken to with a counsellor.  I went through Bankruptcy because of this. 

5. As a result of not working, I am in receipt of ESA, PIP AND UC. These are paid over a 4 weekly rotation, and as a result there are times when I have no money. For the past 2 days I've had no gas or electric due to having no money to top up until tomorrow.  In the past I've gone without food myself because I've not had the money there. Creditors take money monthly, so they dont sync with my payments, therefore when they try to take money they totally wipe my funds, or there's no funds there so I get additional charges added. Ive spoken to creditors on numerous times about this, but they don't care, don't help! It is for this reason that I use AI, because it does what I want FOR FREE!!!!! I have not got money to pay for an illustrator or musician to do it for me!

So there it is. Ive said it as it is. Yes, there's going to be haters and jealousy, but I couldn't care less. SURELY IS YOU ARE A TRUE FRIEND OF MINE, YOU WOULD BE HAPPY FOR ME, AND CELEBRATING OF THE FACT THAT I HAVE LAUNCHED A BOOK SERIES ON MY OWN, HAVING TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF! IF YOU CAN'T DO THAT, AND BE HAPPY FOR ME WITHOUT CRITICISING, THEN YOU ARE CLEARLY NOT A TRUE FRIEND OF MINE!
