The Journey Begins
From school days scribbles to published author and songwriter, the creative spark has always been there. Ten years ago, joining RecRock unlocked a passion for lyric writing. Despite not playing instruments or reading music, collaboration proved challenging. In 2023, AI became the key, transforming lyrics into fully realised songs. Now, over 100 songs are available on all major music platforms.
The seeds of The Teg Chronicles were sown over 30 years ago in college, fuelled by a childhood fascination with Welsh legends sparked by a visit to St Fagan's folk museum. An assignment short story, "I've Seen Them," hinted at a larger narrative. Life's interruptions – work, family, technical mishaps – delayed the dream. But in January 2025, "Call of the Teg" was born, marking the start of a thrilling literary adventure.
A Blend of Inspirations
Influenced by the adventurous spirit of Enid Blyton's Famous Five and the macabre storytelling of Stephen King, my work reflects a love for both excitement and suspense.
Musically, my tastes are incredibly eclectic. From Meatloaf to Michael Jackson, Tina Turner to U2, and a deep appreciation for musical theatre, my songs draw on a wide range of genres. Expect to hear elements of rock, country, pop, 80s disco, funk, and more, all shaped by the unique theme of each song.
The Ultimate Goal: Happiness
My greatest hope is that my books and music evoke a spectrum of emotions – excitement, perhaps a touch of fright – but above all, enjoyment. I strive to create experiences that leave you feeling happy and entertained.
