An Introduction to Lee James Turner

Hello, my name is Lee James Turner. I am currently in my mid fifties, which provides me with a unique perspective on life and its challenges. In terms of family, I come from a small but close-knit unit. My family has always been supportive, and I treasure those relationships deeply. They play a critical role in my life and contribute to my resilience and strength. I'm a father of 2 adults, Jack and Ruby, and a proud grandfather (Bampi) of Lorenzo and Matteo.

Professionally, I am navigating my career with a determination that is fuelled by my circumstances. I am registered disabled, which has shaped my work situation. I no longer work, and battle pain on a daily basis, having fibromyalgia,  or Flabby Angela as I call it, cam impingement in both hips, and type 2 diabetes with insulin dependence. In 2024 I had my left big toe amputated due to sepsis from a duabetic ulcer. Despite facing challenges, I strive to make the most of my abilities and skills. I am passionate about finding opportunities that allow me to contribute meaningfully while also accommodating my needs. I am committed to making a positive impact in my professional life.

In summary, my journey as Lee James Turner is defined by resilience, support from loved ones, and a continuous pursuit of personal and professional development. Writing has become my hobby and this website provides access to portfolio.
